Military and veteran families face a unique set of challenges. Active military families may deal with frequent moves, extended separations due to deployment, and worry over the safety of their active-duty family member. Even after active duty ends, reuniting as a family can be a challenging transition, and the service member’s combat experiences may weigh on him/her and have an impact on family dynamics.
Our therapists understand the challenges of military and veteran families. We offer a safe, confidential place to speak about your concerns with a trained and caring counselor. Whether you are managing a family and household while your spouse is deployed; retired from the services and seeking work; or reuniting with your spouse after an extended absence, you will find understanding and support here at YFC. We offer counseling services for children and teens, as well as adults, couples, and families.
YFC accepts both Tricare and CHAMPVA and welcomes the opportunity to help the military and veteran families in our community.
