Our families are instrumental in who we are and what we become. Today’s families come in many forms: from single-parent households, to traditional two-parent families, to households in which grandparents are raising their grandchildren, and more.
Family counseling has been part of our DNA for over 50 years. Families come to us for help with a variety of issues:
- Negative communication patterns (e.g., yelling, not listening, etc.)
- Parenting challenges
- Step-parenting and blended family issues
- Parent/child relationships
- Sibling relationships
- Intergenerational conflicts, including those related to family-owned businesses
YFC therapists are trained to listen to and support each member of your family, and help you explore new, positive ways of relating to each other. Your counselor can help you with strengthening communication, increasing understanding, and finding new ways to meet the needs of all family members.
