John brings rich life experience to YFC. For more than 15 years, he has conducted retreats and facilitated support groups focusing on the emotional and relational development of men. At YFC, John works with individual men and women, as well as couples. He has a special interest in working with young adults on the issues and challenges specific to that stage of life.

John works with clients on a range of issues including anxiety and depression, adjustment disorders, and adult attention deficit/hyperactivity disorder. John’s special interest in the roles and challenges of men in our society inform his work with male clients on a range of issues including workplace challenges, relationships, marriage, parenting, divorce, and aging.

John completed the Advanced Clinical Training Program at the Cathedral Counseling Center of Chicago, as well as a graduate-level clinical internship at YFC. He is currently a PhD candidate at the Institute for Clinical Social Work in Chicago.
