Mutaal Khan, LPC

Mutaal provides therapeutic services to individuals and families at Youth & Family Counseling and joined YFC in August 2022. Mutaal earned her MA in Counseling with an emphasis on Forensic Psychology and holds a license as a Professional Counselor (LPC). She brings strong experience in counseling across a range of concerns, highlighting a culturally responsive and integrative approach to her work. Mutaal’s clinical style incorporates play therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), mindfulness-based interventions, and person-centered therapy. She values creating a supportive environment where clients feel empowered to explore their experiences, build coping skills, and move toward meaningful personal growth and enjoys partnering with clients at important moments of change and growth.

Outside of work. she likes to spend time with family, listen to music, go out with friends, volunteer, and checking out new places/restaurants, etc.
