Sarah Armstrong

Sarah serves as Associate Director of Development at YFC, supporting fundraising initiatives, donor communications, and development operations that advance the organization’s mission. She brings several years of experience in nonprofit development, communications, and relationship management. Since joining YFC, Sarah has played an integral role in donor stewardship, campaign support, managing grants, and development communications, helping strengthen connections between YFC and its supporters. She enjoys working in the mental health field because it allows her to combine storytelling, strategy, and purpose to increase access to care and reduce stigma. Sarah holds education and professional training relevant to nonprofit development and communications and works closely with program and leadership staff to align fundraising with impact. While not a clinician, her work is informed by trauma-informed, inclusive practices.

Outside of work, Sarah enjoys creative projects, reading, and spending time outdoors.
