Are you looking to get involved with a great local organization and have a meaningful impact on families in our community?

At YFC, we count on people like you to help us make counseling services accessible to all members of our community. Whether you give your time to help with one project or event, or commit to serve on a regular basis, there are many ways to contribute.

With over 50 years of service to the community, we are growing to help meet the mental health needs of individuals and families in our area. Join us at this exciting time to make a difference.

Join the YFC Auxiliary

The Auxiliary plays an important role in fundraising for YFC, and members have a lot of fun in the process!

The primary work of the Auxiliary is planning and hosting our annual Gala, which takes place each fall. You can express your creativity by helping to design auction displays or table centerpieces, or exercise your organizational skills by serving on the auction or raffle committee. All of these preparations culminate in a lovely event that you will enjoy sharing with your friends, and be proud of your part in raising money for affordable counseling services.

In addition to working on the Gala, the Auxiliary meets each quarter to socialize and enjoy educational presentations on parenting or mental health issues.

Serve on the Board of Directors

YFC is governed by a Board of Directors made up of talented people who bring a wealth of experience from the fields of finance, marketing, fundraising, event planning, law, technology, and more. These dedicated individuals have a commitment to mental health and a desire to make a difference in the lives of the people we serve and the broader community.

The Board ensures that YFC is on track to accomplish its mission and is involved in establishing policies that guide YFC’s operations, monitoring the agency’s finances, and helping to raise funds.

Becoming a YFC Board member is an opportunity to leverage your talents and experience, develop meaningful relationships, and further energize an already vital organization to serve our community now and for years to come.
